NOTE: The Pioneer SS4 currently is out of stock. Contact us for an update on when it will be available.
The AquaCera Pioneer SS4 water filter system's relatively small size makes it ideal for one or several people whether at home, office, college dorm room, RV or vacation home. It’s also easily portable for use during camping or for emergency preparedness. And it's very easy to assemble and requires no tools to set up.
The Pioneer requires no electricity -- just pour the water to be purified into the top portion of the system, let it slowly filter through the filter elements to the lower portion, and it will be purified and ready for drinking.
The Pioneer system is 9" in diameter and stands 20" in height or 14" in height when nested for storage or transportation. Treated water capacity of the lower portion is 2.5 gallons.
Constructed of high grade polished 304 grade stainless steel, the Pioneer can accommodate as many as four 7” AquaCera filter elements. A stainless steel spigot is included (the images are incorrect in showing a plastic spigot).
The system can be ordered with your choice of several combinations of CeraPlus or CeraMetix-GF or CeraMetix AMB ceramic filters and AquaMetix GB and Chemix GB QuickDrip filters. With two ceramic filter elements installed, the system will filter about four to six gallons per day; and with two QuickDrip filters installed, the system will filter about three to five gallons per hour. The more filters you use, the higher your filtration rate. You can choose the filter configuration that meets both your needs and budget.
NOTE: Imperial filters are 2¾" in diameter, while SlimLine filters are 2" in diameter. The larger diameter Imperial filters offer about 40% higher flow rates and longer life than the smaller diameter SlimLine filters.
With ceramic filters installed, you can use the Pioneer system with just about any fresh water source including tap, lake, stream, river, pond and rain water. The QuickDrip filters are designed to filter water supplies that are municipally-treated, so they should not be used where the water to be filtered might contain bacteria or cysts.
NOTE: All models qualify for free shipping within the continental U.S.
