The AquaCera AquaMetix GB gravity block filter is designed to provide high quality drinking water for pour through and gravity type applications for water supplies that are municipally-treated where pathogenic micro-organism contamination is not an issue.
This 2" x 6" AquaMetix block core is a proprietary matrix comprised of at least two types of activated carbon, combined with proprietary zeolite minerals, structurally bound with polymers into a highly porous block filter form.This very unique block core will adsorb a wide variety of organic and inorganic drinking water contaminants.
The dense pore structure and vast surface area is ideally suited to improving taste and odor and it's specifically designed to reduce particulate and chemical compounds including, chloramine, chlorine, lead, heavy metals, fluoride, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), trihalomethanes (THMs), mercury, chromium and more. This filter is designed for gravity and low pressure applications and requires no priming or pre-wetting procedures.
