The AquaCera NilusTwo under-counter water filter system is a twin in-line pressure filter system that connects to your cold water line. The compact and slim design will fit in small, under-sink areas and is a great solution for those who are looking for a filtration system that provides higher flow rates and longer filter cartridge life than typical under-counter filter systems, yet is easy to install and use.
The NilusTwo filter housing holds two replaceable filter elements and uses the larger Imperial size filter cartridges allowing for higher flow rates and longer life. The first stage filter can be either the Imperial CeraSyl OBE filter, the Imperial CeraUlta OBE filter or the Imperial CeraMetix OBE filter. The second stage is the Standard AquaMetix OBE filter.
The first stage filter removes suspended sediment, pathogens and the easier chemical compounds, allowing the second stage to focus on removing the more difficult contaminants. By combining two separate filters in one filter system, your water is filtered twice. This results in near zero concentrations of most drinking water contaminants.
The Imperial CeraSyl OBE filter reduces sediment, bacteria, cysts, taste and odor. The Imperial CeraUltra OBE filter reduces sediment, bacteria, cysts, chlorine, taste, odor, VOCs, lead, mercury and some other heavy metals. The Imperial CeraMetix OBE filter reduces sediment, bacteria, cysts, chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, herbicides & pesticides, pharmaceutical componds, heavy metals, tri-halomethanes and VOC’s.
The second stage AquaMetix Standard OBE filter will adsorb a variety of organic and inorganic substances, chlorine and the more difficult to remove chloramine and will reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concern.
The system includes a mounting bracket and screws, and the inlet and outlet use push fit connectors for easy installation. An optional Do-It-Yourself installation kit that includes the parts needed for most installations is available. The DIY kit includes a faucet connector, EZ Adapter, and 3/8” tubing for typical installation. The DIY kit also is available in your choice of either the Standard, Modern or Classic faucet version with chrome or brushed nickel finish.
