The AquaCera HIP under-counter drinking water filter system is a single-stage, in-line pressure filter system that connects to your cold water line. The compact and slim design will fit in small, under-sink areas.
Constructed of durable ABS, the filter housing holds a single replaceable filter element. It comes with one CeraSyl ceramic filter element.
The CeraSyl ceramic filter element is designed to remove essentially all pathogenic bacteria and cysts and all suspended matter larger than 0.3 microns.
Pathogenic bacteria:
Cholera, Typhoid, Salmonella, Serratia, Fecal Coliform >99.99%
E. coli - 100%
Cysts:
Cryptosporidium Parvum, Giardia Lamblia - 100% removal
Sediment:
Down to 0.8 micron - 100%
0.3 - 0.5 micron >99.99%
Turbidity >99.7%
The system includes a mounting bracket and screws, and the inlet and outlet use push fit connectors for easy installation. An optional Do-It-Yourself installation kit that includes the parts needed for most installations is available. The DIY kit includes a faucet connector, EZ Adapter, and 3/8” tubing for typical installation. The DIY kit also is available with a standard chrome faucet.
