The Pure T "EZ-SLIM" 5 Micron Sediment Filter serves as a first-stage, pre-filter on the Pure T 50/75/100 GPD "EZ SLIM" Five-Stage Reverse Osmosis Systems. It removes dirt, sand, rust and any other suspended matter larger than 5 microns, protecting and increasing the service life of the remaining filters. It should be replaced every six to twelve months, depending upon depending on usage and raw water quality.
