The Flowlok Leak Control Valve is designed to help safeguard against possible leaks from under-counter water treatment systems. The valve quickly shuts off your water supply if water from a leak is detected, and it's a very inexpensive form of protection against what could amount to a major disaster.
The leak protector utilizes a highly compressed safety disc that expands when it absorbs water. Once the safety disc is exposed to water, it expands and trips a safety lever that shuts off the water. It’s installed right below your water filter or reverse osmosis system, so any leak is quickly detected and stopped. It requires no electricity to operate, and it’s very easy to install, requiring no special tools.
