The CeraCarb ceramic composite water filter element is a silver impregnated ceramic micro-filter element that includes a special mix of carbons which are infused throughout the filter. The inclusion of silver gives the filter element bacteriostatic, self-sterilizing properties and the infused carbons provide exceptional chemical removal capabilities in addition to the removal of pathogenic organisms.
