The Flowmatic FH8000BL34 20" filter housing is a heavy duty housing made using high quality FDA grade polypropylene. It features thick side walls with heavy duty reinforcing ribs for greater strength. A buttress thread design ensures superior sealing and security, while compressible EPDM O-rings in the cap, sump and top seat provide an added measure of sealing. It comes with pressure relief valve, and the inlet and outlet ports are 3/4" diameter NPT.
The filter housing comes with a Watts SF5-20 2-1/2" x 20" string wound, 5 micron sediment filter. This filter is made of 100 percent polypropylene string for excellent chemical resistance with no media migration and high quality food grade ingredients for potable water. It effectively removes sediment, rust, sand, and silt from water.
