The Uranium test is designed to help you determine how much (if any) Uranium is in your water. Uranium is naturally occurring and in very low levels can be found in most rocks, soil and water. Inhalation or ingestion are the two primary ways of introduction to the body. Uranium can cause kidney damage and possible cancer; however kidney damage seems to be a common result.
The test kit contains all the materials needed to collect the water sample, including detailed instructions on how to collect your sample and where to return it. The sample does not require overnight shipping. Test results are typically completed and e-mailed within 5-7 business days from the date the sample is received at the laboratory.
